My Journey at Addteq: From Reservations to Reward

Deciding to join Addteq has turned out to be one of the best choices I have made for my career, both at work and away from the office. To be honest, I came in with some nerves, working in a brisk little crew of ten looked exciting yet risky, and I wondered how I’d fit in. Still, those doubts slipped away the moment I experienced Addteq’s day-to-day atmosphere. This blog details my experience as an employee in Addteq in the last couple of years

My Employee Experience at Addteq

From the first day, people greeted me like an old colleague. This company isn’t just after hard skills-it cares about humans. Collaboration happens almost by instinct, and even the CEO is only a quick message away for a friendly check-in, which gave me the confidence to be myself from the start.

What really sets Addteq apart, though, is the turbocharged room to grow. Because roles here bend rather than break, I have tackled projects far outside the border of my official title like managing the administration of our Jira and confluence instances which are generally not a part of production support responsibilities but rather a task for admins. And any additional skills can be picked up by various learning opportunities provided to us like a Udemy subscription where we can access a wide array of learning plans.

Working at Addteq feels like no two days are going to be the same, some days there is going to be a flood of client reported issue, which could be all related caused by some system issue or sometimes just a coincidence. And my role allows me to triage the incoming tickets, try to understand the underlying issue, and engage different teams to resolve the issue. At the same time we have ongoing internal improvement projects and tasks which we are working on to make the overall organizational efficiency constantly a little better.

Work-life fit at Addteq

Not only have I grown professionally, but equally important is how well Addteq fits with my family life. I parent two little kids, and being 100% remote is a huge blessing. I can be there for school pick-ups and drops, cover overdue check-up, or simply share snack time on the couch and still give my team and our clients my full attention. Support work often pulls you outside office hours, and working from home lets me cover those spikes without missing family moments or running into burnout.

Addteq has not only exceeded my professional expectations but has also helped me grow in my personal life in unexpected ways. Addteq’s culture of focusing on employees’ well-being, along with exponential growth and learning that too in a remote environment, makes it one of the perfect choices at this stage of my career and life. I’m excited to continue the road to learning, collaboration, and growth with Addteq, and let’s explore what the future holds in our journey together
